Jasper and Banff National Parks

Black Bear
Miette Hot Springs.  First snow of the season in the morning made for a nice view and a worthy soak.

I had been to Jasper in 1998 but it has been built up into an awesome little resort town.  This brewery had a wild blueberry vanilla ale that i will always remember the aroma of.  Still kicking myself for not stocking up on it.

So we had decided that we are going to have floral theme pics of Amanda on this trip.
 Ice Fields Parkway

 Lake Louise
 Floral #2
Tek the cat hiding in a pillowcase
 More free camping!!!
Moraine Lake.  Yes, it was snowing.  Yes, I was cold in shorts and flip-flops.

Canada has constructed these "wild life crossings" over the highway.  I guess it took some time for the critters to get used to it but now there are over 10,000 crossings a year and limited traffic collisions.

 Female Big Horn Sheep
Radium Hot Springs.  We are going to visit as many of these as we can
Instead of a dirtbag dinner we went out for some German Food (Lamb, Chicken, Brat - Spatzle).
Pretty.
