Searching for a home :-)

We've been in Palmer, AK for a day and a half and we can already tell that we like the town and the location. A few miles from Wasilla (stayin on the look out for Palin sitings) , a little North of Eagle River and even not that far from the Big City of Anchorage. We are both sick as dogs, I guess the 2-week drive finally caught up to us, but we are trucking along on our search for a home. In the meantime we are living in a motel run by a Chinese Food Restaurant and yes it is called the Peak Inn Motel...genious! We're enjoying breakfast at 11:00am (well the sun just came up so we're getting a late start...we're rookie Alaska folk) and charging forward on the search. The weather is wicked comfortable and the view is fabulous, see pics below. Miss you all!!

    great to see you two!!! sorry that your sick chinese tea & a little jack should do it!!well there's alot of nice apt's in both wasilla & anchorage atleast on the internet...well be safe get well amanda you look beautiful in the last picture..kinda like your losing your mind a little!! :) it's o.k...deep breaths..love you!!xoxoxo

    Peak Inn? I love it!! So...you know what I'm gonna ask. Can you see Russia from your house...okay motel? LOL Miss you lots LOL

    Thanks mom! and thanks for the website too, we've already visited a few apartments on it. Haha, I don't know about seeing Russia but it sure does smell like Chinatown!

    I love the mountains!!! So pretty!!! By the way Peak a Brew Espresso???? I think those Chinese people are sitting around up there coming up with clever variations of Peking all day long. Peking...Peak Inn...Peak a brew hahahah I am dying laughing right now

    I know it! This place is hilarious. It's def sufficing for now but we gots to be gettin our own place here soon. I think the UHaul repo people are gonna be showin up any day ugh.
